About Peter
Peter graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic having completed his 4 year degree programme. His passion for the profession came from observing the effectiveness of chiropractic within sports professionals, since he himself is a keen sports person.
Peter has regularly applied himself to athletics, weight training and long distance running. He is also a huge advocate for golf and football. His knowledge and understanding of these sports, together with his clinic experience, ensures that he can always offer the best treatment and advice to patients who are sports orientated, to ensure he resolves their issue, enabling them to perform to their best.
Peters passion and experience extends beyond sport however. He also really enjoys treating patients for chronic headaches, acute and chronic back pain issues and many other issues, in patients of all ages and his thorough approach, is highly recognised amongst his patients.
Peter continues to keep up to date with the latest research and is always looking for new ways to improve as a chiropractor, to offer the highest quality of care possible
About Imaan
Imaan Salam qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the WIOC following her four- year degree programme where she received a distinction and the Award of Academic Excellence.
Like the other associates in the Salford clinic, Imaan has been a close colleague and also studied alongside Dr Langham at the WIOC. This has created a lovely working dynamic for the whole team who have known each-other for serval years.
Imaan’s interest in Chiropractic was sparked when she received treatment for pelvic pain in her teens and discovered the bodies intricate intelligence and ability to heal. After experiencing the huge benefits and understanding of chiropractic care, she knew this was the career path she wanted to pursue and spread to others. She believes everyone, from babies to the elderly can benefit.
She enjoys treating all ages and conditions in particular headaches and acute patients. Following the birth of her nephew and nieces, she developed a very keen interest in pregnancy care.
Within her years of practice she has treated first division and premier league football players and was the chiropractor for a CrossFit gym. She is a keen sports person and works along side a medical doctor and personal trainer to educate clients on injury prevention.
To ensure she provides the highest standard of care, she attends courses and seminars to continually expand her knowledge base.
Imaan prides herself on her compassionate and understanding nature. She is thorough in her appointments and believes in empowering patients with the vital tools, understanding and encouragement they need to take an active role in their treatment and recovery.
